Marijuana candy on bus leads to 4 arrests - San Francisco Chronicle

HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) â€" A report that a young girl distributed marijuana-infused candy on a Hamilton school bus in May has led to drug charges against her parents and two others.

The Ravalli Republic reports (http://bit.ly/OEK0AU ) charges were filed against 38-year-old Robert McCoy, 35-year-old Andrea McCoy, 30-year-old Jeffery Fisher and 27-year-old Karen Fisher. They are due to appear in District Court next month.

Court records say the girl told police her stepfather was a medical marijuana provider and her mother produced the candy. She said the Fishers were caring for the grow operation while her parents were on vacation.

Prosecutors say a search turned up more than twice the legal amount of marijuana and marijuana-infused products as Robert McCoy could legally possess as a provider. Officers also found logs that indicated the Fishers were actively involved in the grow operation.
